👶 Caring for a pregnant mother means caring for two lives.

Pregnant women should receive proper nutrition, adequate rest, regular prenatal care, and a safe, stress-free environment to support a healthy pregnancy. Family and community support also play an important role in ensuring the well-being of both mother and baby.

Every mother deserves compassionate care, guidance, and support throughout her pregnancy journey. 🌷

HOW MANY CUPS OF WATER SHOULD YOU DRINK DAILY IN PREGNANCY?

Mama, during pregnancy your body needs more water than usual because you are not just keeping yourself hydrated, you are also supporting your baby, your placenta, and the extra blood your body is producing.

On average, you should aim for about 8 to 12 cups of water daily. That is roughly 2 to 3 litres, depending on your body size, weather, and activity level.

If you are in a hot place like Nigeria or you sweat easily, you may need even more than that.

Let me break it down simply for you:
Drink small amounts frequently throughout the day, not all at once. By the time your urine is light yellow, you are doing well. If it is dark, your body needs more water.

Mama, water helps with:
It reduces constipation
It supports amniotic fluid
It helps prevent dehydration and tiredness
It supports good blood flow to your baby

But also listen to your body. Don’t force excessive water, just stay consistent.
