Sa pagdiriwang ng 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸, ating bigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng pag-unawa at pagpapahalaga sa natatanging kakayahan ng mga indibidwal na nasa Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Ang autism ay may iba’t ibang anyo, at bawat isa ay may natatanging karanasan.

Sa pagtanggap sa neurodiversity, makakabuo tayo ng isang mundong pinapahalagahan at tinatanggap ang bawat isa. Wasakin natin ang mga maling paniniwala at pakinggan nang mabuti ang mga tinig ng mga taong may autism—marami silang maituturo sa atin tungkol sa katatagan at pagiging malikhain.

Gawin nating makabuluhan ang linggong ito sa pamamagitan ng habag, pagkatuto, at paglago!

Please visit and join us celebrate our National Intellectual Disability Week as relauched our "Project PAG-ASA"
(Pagtulong at Gabay para sa edukasyon ng mga Espesyal na Bata).
The proceeds on this activity will be used in the extension of SNED Room for the Resource room(Break Out Area) that will serves as Calming area, and a relaxed place to study for the Learners with Special Educational Needs giving them a best of both world solution where they feel at home in school.

The Department of Education (DepEd), through the Bureau of Learning Delivery, invites everyone to the 2023 National Deaf Awareness Week (NDAW) Celebration this November 10 to 16, 2023.

Focusing on the theme “Promote Safe and Inclusive Education: Filipino Sign Language (FSL) and other means of Communication towards a Resilient Future,” this celebration aims to instill public awareness of the plight of Deaf and Hard of hearing individuals and promote recognition and acceptance of the Filipino Sign Language as medium language of instruction and transaction of Deaf and Hard of hearing individuals.

This year’s celebration is made possible with our partners from National Council on Disability Affairs, Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino, Philippine School for the Deaf, Philippine Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies, Philippine Federation of the Deaf, Public Employment Service Office, Department of Labor and Employment, and the Newborn Hearing Screening Reference Center.
