Being a responder isn't just about the uniform; it is about the unwavering commitment to serve others when they need it most. True volunteerism means giving our time, our energy, and our skills to build a safer, more resilient community. Whether it is learning how to perform CPR or assisting a blood donor, every single act of service creates a ripple effect of hope.

Driven by this exact spirit, today was an incredibly busy but fulfilling day for the Emergency Response Society, working hand-in-hand in proud partnership with the Philippine Red Cross!
Here is a quick look at what our dedicated team accomplished today:

Day 3 of New Member Training: COMPLETED! ✅
We are thrilled to announce that our newest batch of members has officially finished their Day 3 training, mastering the crucial skills of Basic First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS). We are so proud of your dedication to learning how to save lives!

Successful Blood Letting Activity 🩸
Our volunteers were fully deployed today to assist the Philippine Red Cross and the Dodiongan Falls Eagles Club in a massive blood-letting drive. Thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves to give the gift of life!

Thank you to our partners, our tireless volunteers, and our new trainees for embodying the true meaning of service. Let’s keep moving forward, together!

🚨 URGENT HEAT INDEX ALERT: 44°C TOMORROW 🚨

Tomorrow, our area is expected to reach a dangerously high heat index of 44°C. The Emergency Response Society urges everyone to take immediate precautions to protect yourselves and your loved ones from extreme heat.

Quick Tips to Beat the Heat:

Hydrate Constantly: Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty. Avoid sugary or alcoholic beverages.

Stay Cool: Remain indoors with air conditioning or fans whenever possible. Take cool showers to lower your body temperature.

Limit Outdoor Time: Avoid direct sunlight during peak hours (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM). If you must go outside, wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothing and a hat.

Check on the Vulnerable: Keep a close eye on the elderly, children, and pets, as they are most susceptible to heat-related illnesses.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Heat Stroke is a life-threatening medical emergency! If someone has hot/dry skin, becomes confused, or loses consciousness, do not give them fluids and call for emergency medical help immediately.

It’s a Wrap! Youth Volunteer Formation Course Completed! 🎉

Our incredible members have officially finished their formation course, pushing their limits and proving their dedication.

💥 Testing Limits & Building Character
To prepare for the real-world challenges of answering the call for help, our volunteers went through rigorous training and activities designed to test their strength, might, wit, and intelligence. They tackled everything we threw at them, including:

Sensitivity & Physical Tests

Dry & Wet Games

Team-Building Exercises

Through it all, they developed essential skills for the field, demonstrating incredible teamwork, leadership, pride, and sensitivity to others.

As you can see, the design is minimalist in accordance with the Philippine Red Cross mandate. All uniforms across different school councils must share this standardized look.

This uniform will be utilized for:
✅ PRC Deployments: Outreach programs and external volunteer monitoring, such as during the Diyandi Festival.
✅ School Duties: Campus events that require our services, including Indigay and other major school activities.

This unified design will help the PRC and the public easily identify our volunteers during any operation or event. Thank you to all our volunteers for your service! ✨
