There are moments in life that never fade, no matter how many years pass.
I still remember this day so clearly… my little girl, only 6 years old, lying there, weak and unwell. Her tiny body needed rest, her heart needed comfort—but what hurt the most was knowing I had to leave her behind.
I had to be strong, even when everything in me was breaking. I kissed her gently, hoping she would feel all the love I was trying to leave with her… enough to last until I came back.
Being a mother sometimes means making the hardest choices—not because we want to, but because we have to.
That day, I didn’t just leave for work on another island—I left a piece of my heart behind.
And even now, looking at this photo, I can still feel it. The love. The pain. The strength.
To all the mothers out there who sacrifice silently—you are seen, you are strong, and your love never goes unnoticed. ❤️
