COMMUNITY MEDICAL MISSION | September 12, 2026

The Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Norman James Roa, Municipal Health Officer. Together with Dra. Miracle Clintine D. Andos, Dttb, in coordination with the Local Government Unit of impasugong and under the leadership of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Mayor Mai Okinlay, was successfully conducted a Community Medical Mission today.

The activity brought essential and accessible healthcare services closer to the community, including:

• Medical consultation and assessment
• Minor surgical procedures
• Dental check-up and basic dental services
• Eye check-up and screening
• Ultrasound services
• Basic health assessment and health education
• Provision and distribution of medicines through the Municipal Pharmacy
• Referral and appropriate follow-up of clients requiring further medical care.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment of the Municipal Health Office and the Local Government Units to provide accessible, responsive, and quality healthcare services to the community.

Together, we continue to bring healthcare closer to the people and strengthen our commitment to a healthier community.

Today September 10, 2026. The Local government unit of Impasugong had its commemoration for the "World Su***de Prevention Day" and Candle Lighting through the efforts of the Municipal Health Office.

Theme: "There is HOPE. Hold On. Pain Ends."
A meaningful gathering of hearts and minds, united in raising awareness, offering hope, and reminding everyone that no one has to face their struggles alone.

A heartfelt thank you to our guest speaker, John Gabriel Lasquites, ICAP 1, RC!
Our deepest gratitude also to Pastor Joel Zapanta for his inspiring message — a true light to those feeling hopeless.
And to Sister Alice Y. Decker, OSA, thank you for being with us and for your prayer!

Empowering Families and Promoting Reproductive Health in our Community!

Last August 28, 2026, the Municipal Health Office, in strong partnership with the Provincial Health Office and Provincial Population Development Office, successfully conducted a Family Planning Caravan at the Evacuation Center, Poblacion, Impasug-ong, Bukidnon.

A total of 137 clients were provided with free, high-quality reproductive health services, including subdermal implant insertion, implant removal, and IUD insertion.

This initiative was made possible through the unwavering support and leadership of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Jetaime A. Okinlay-Gumban, together with our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Norman James Y. Roa, Public Health Nurse, Ms. Leonie Q. Baula, RN, MAN, and FP Program Coordinator, Roselyn P. Tagupa, RM.

August 20, 2026, The afternoon session of Buntis Congress 2026 continued with the much-anticipated Search for "Healthy Buntis 2026."

Each candidate showcased their talents, demonstrated their skills, and displayed confidence, vitality, and well-being — embodying the true potential of a healthy expectant mother.

The event highlighted not just physical health, but also the grace, capability, and positive spirit of every participant, making the afternoon both inspiring and memorable.

Thank you so much to our judges, Dra. Miracle Clintine D. Andos, DTTB, Maam Leah Española, Nutritionist, Maam Charisse Delarmente, the chairman of the board.

This activity was efficiently spearheaded by the Municipal Health Officer Dr. Norman James Y. Roa, together our DTTB Dra. Miracle Clintine D. Andos. With the dedicated team of HRH nurses, midwives, bhw's and mho personel's and LGU events team.

Buntis Congress 2026 | Love at First Bump: Nurturing Life, Love in a Heartbeat 💗🤰

August 20, 2026 | Impasugong, Bukidnon

The Buntis Congress 2026 was successfully conducted, bringing essential health services, valuable health education, and meaningful support closer to the pregnant women of the Municipality of Impasugong. 💗

As part of the activity, our expectant mothers were provided with essential services, including ultrasound examinations, Complete Blood Count (CBC), urinalysis (UA), dental check-ups, and general medical consultations and family planning, helping ensure that every pregnancy is given the care and attention it deserves.

We were also honored to have a guest speaker who shared important and practical knowledge on obstetric do’s and don’ts, proper prenatal care, and the importance of good nutrition and healthy eating during pregnancy. Our Municipal Pharmacist likewise shared her professional expertise, providing valuable guidance on the safe and responsible use of medicines during pregnancy.

This meaningful activity would not have been possible without the support and leadership of our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Norman James Y. Roa, and our DTTB, Dra. Miracle Clintine D. Andos, whose continued commitment to maternal and community health helps bring quality healthcare services closer to our people.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our HRH Nurses, Rural Health Midwives, Barangay Health Workers, Administrative Aides, and all Barangay Officials for their dedication, teamwork, and tireless service to our pregnant women and their families.

We also extend our deepest appreciation to Hon. Mayor Mai Okinlay for her unwavering support of the activities and programs of the Municipal Health Office, and to Sangguniang Bayan Member Hon. Ayki Delarmente-Quines for her valuable support.
