The Department reminds the public to always verify information found online only with legitimate sources. Maging BIDA, alamin ang tamang impormasyon!

READ | DepEd launches COVID-19 vaccination tracker app for staff
July 22, 2021-In support of the National DepEd and Vaccination Plan (NDVP), the Department of Education (DepEd) developed the DepEd Mobile App to provide safer ways for teachers and staff to provide information and the state of their vaccine.
“We decided to create this platform to give our personnel and teachers a hassle-free and contactless way of handing out their vaccination status. We also want to maximize the use of technology in consolidating information of the vaccinees,” ani Kalihim ng Edukasyon Leonor Magtolis Briones.
Using DepEd Mobile App, which can be downloaded on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android), will no longer require a manual data collection at all governance levels because the process can be done anywhere. Through the App, DepEd staff can log in and give updates on the state of their vaccine.
"The app can generate and send consolidated reports per division and region. Overall, this technology simplifies and lessens administrative tasks and minimizes inaccuracy and errors in data collection," pagbabahagi ng Pangalawang Kalihim sa Pangangasiwa Alain Del B. Pascua.
The OUA memorandum released on Monday by the User Guide also issued to teach staff in the step-by-step process how to use the application, from registration to giving personal information. Application features the Question Set for users to update their vaccine status, adding more details related to COVID-19.
Second Secretary Pascua also informed that the data collected from the application will be crucial in developing policies and how to face current challenges in the government-implemented vaccination program.
“All the information collected will guide the Department’s leaders across all governance levels in making appropriate decisions to respond to the ongoing pandemic. Only timely and accurate information can help provide appropriate solutions to DepEd’s concerns,” ayon kay Usec. Pascua.
Recently, 790 staff from DepEd Central Office and MIMAROPA Regional Office received the first dose of their COVID-19 vaccine with the help of Pasig City government.
Various DepEd Regional and Division Offices continue to promote Vacc2School Campaign to encourage staff to register their local government's vaccination drive.
