Building partnerships for community health 🩺🤝

The Likas Makilas medical students of ADZU School of Medicine conducted a courtesy call with the Barangay Makilas Officials as part of their community immersion. During the meeting, the group presented the goals and objectives of their almost month-long stay, including planned health-related activities and initiatives for the community.

The session also provided a venue to discuss community needs and concerns, with barangay officials expressing their support and offering assistance. This meaningful exchange marked the beginning of a collaborative and service-driven immersion, rooted in learning, partnership, and the shared goal of promoting the health and well-being of the Makilas community.
