Why is leptospirosis dangerous?
Leptospirosis is being described as an epidemic in Manila after new cases in the city exceeded the epidemiological threshold.
From 1.27% last week, the attack rate rose to 3.48%, according to the Manila Health Department.

Patuloy ang ating tagumpay!

Taos-pusong pagkilala at pagpupugay sa karagdagang mga munisipalidad na opisyal nang nakamit ang mahigit 95% vaccination coverage sa ating Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) Campaign!

Ang pag-abot sa mahalagang target na ito ay bunga ng patuloy na pagtutulungan ng ating mga masisipag na healthcare workers, lokal na pamahalaan, mga Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), at mga responsableng magulang. Dahil sa inyong malasakit, mas pinalalakas natin ang kalasag ng bawat bata laban sa tigdas at rubella.

Feeding the future by supporting our roots! 🌾

On August 17, 2026, our Mayor, the Municipal Nutrition Committee, and the World Food Programme (WFP) joined forces to host the Home-Grown School Feeding (HGSF) orientation and workshop. This program bridges the gap between child health and agricultural growth by sourcing fresh produce directly from local smallholder farmers for school meals—nourishing our students while boosting our local economy!
