A significant step towards a healthier and stronger community!

The successful launching of the Purok Kalusugan in Barangay Sta.Cruz highlights the shared commitment of the local government, health workers, and community leaders in promoting accessible and quality healthcare for every family.

The activity included a medical consultation conducted by our rural health physician Dra.Angsa and was attended by the Purok Kalusugan Focal Person, Ms. Lujie Cruz , the Barangay Officials , DOH Human Resources for Health (HRH), and the RHU-1 East staff, all working together to strengthen community-based health services.

Through Purok Kalusugan, we continue to empower every purok to become healthier, safer, and more resilient.

RHU-1 East proudly joined the successful launching of the Purok Kalusugan Program in Barangay Marketsite.

The event was graced by our RHP Dra.Angsa ,who conducted medical consultations for community members. Also present were the Purok Kalusugan Focal Person Ms.Lujie F. Cruz , the Barangay Captain, Hon.Rhozelfin Arpa-Jaafar, DOH Human Resources for Health (HRH), and the dedicated RHU-1 East staff, demonstrating a unified commitment to improving community health.

The Purok Kalusugan Program serves as a vital strategy in promoting preventive healthcare, strengthening community participation, and ensuring that quality health services are accessible to every family.

Through the collective efforts of our healthcare workers, staff, and Rural Health Physician, this activity was made possible to provide safe, accessible, and quality healthcare services for the community.

Today’s Operation Tuli activity was successfully carried out by the RHU-1 EAST team under the supervision of our Rural Health Physician , Dra. Angsa with 30 boys safely accommodated during the activity 🌸✨

RHU-1 East Birthing Home successfully conducted a re-echo orientation on Primary Eye Care and Visual Acuity Assessment spearheaded by our supervisor together with the active participation of our staff.

The activity included demonstration and return demonstration to strengthen the knowledge and skills of health workers in conducting proper visual acuity assessment for community implementation.

This initiative aims to further improve accessible and quality primary eye care services for the community. 👁️💙
