The Municipal Health Office recently conducted an important HEADSS (Home Education Activity on Drugs, Substance Abuse, and Sexuality) session as part of the Department of Health’s Adolescent Friendly Health Institutions program. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive education and support to adolescents, addressing critical issues such as drug prevention, substance abuse awareness, and promoting healthy attitudes toward sexuality and equality. Through interactive discussions the program empowers teens to make informed decisions, build resilience, and foster a safe and supportive environment for their growth and development. These sessions are part of ongoing efforts to promote holistic adolescent health and well-being in the community.
