Strengthening Partnerships for a Healthier Jiabong!
The Municipality of Jiabong, through the Jiabong Municipal Health Office and Municipal Nutrition Office, successfully conducted the 2nd Quarter Joint Meeting of the Local Health Board (LHB), Municipal Nutrition Committee (MNC), and Local AIDS Council (LAC), held in conjunction with the Monitoring and Evaluation for Local Level Plan Implementation (MELLPI Pro) Assessment.
The meeting served as an avenue to assess the progress of local health, nutrition, and HIV/AIDS programs, review performance indicators, and discuss strategic interventions to further improve health service delivery in the municipality.
📌 Key Local Health Board Resolutions Approved and Endorsed:
✅ LHB Resolution No. 003, s. 2026 – Endorsing the approved Disaster Risk Reduction in Health (DRRM-H) Plan 2026–2028 for adoption and integration into the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (MDRRM) Plan and the Annual Investment Plan (AIP).
✅ LHB Resolution No. 004, s. 2026 – Establishing the Adolescent Health Program Technical Working Group (AHPTWG), defining its composition, functions, duties, responsibilities, funding sources, and operational mechanisms.
✅ LHB Resolution No. 005, s. 2026 – Commending Ms. Ruffa Llano Tizon, RM, for successfully passing the Midwifery Licensure Examination, recognizing her outstanding achievement and for bringing honor and pride to the Municipality of Jiabong.
✅ LHB Resolution No. 006, s. 2026 – Supporting the implementation of the 2026 Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MRSIA) and ensuring full local government support for its successful conduct.
✅ LHB Resolution No. 007, s. 2026 – Endorsing the Reviewed and Updated Annual Operational Plan (AOP) CY 2027 of the Municipal Health Office for submission to the Provincial Health Office for appraisal, technical review, and appropriate action.
✅ LHB Resolution No. 008, s. 2026 – Approving and Endorsing the Roster of Registered and Accredited Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), including their official “BHW KOnek” (National Barangay Health Worker Registry) Numbers, as the Official List of Barangay Health Workers of the Municipality of Jiabong.
📊 The meeting also featured:
* Presentation of the National Immunization Program (Fully Immunized Child) Accomplishment as of June 2026.
* Dissemination of the MELLPI-Pro assessment results recognizing the Local Government Unit of Jiabong for achieving an Excellent Performance Rating based on the evaluation conducted by the Provincial Nutrition Evaluation Team (PNET).
*Orientation to LBH Members on the conduct of 2026 Measles Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity and Vitamin A Supplementation.
