August 13, 2026 || The Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Kapatagan is honored to assist the students and teachers of Kapatagan National High School (KNHS) as they take part in a Docu-Series National Competition.

For their documentary, the team chose a topic close to our community - Schistosomiasis, a disease that remains a concern in Kapatagan as an endemic area.

Through this project, we hope to help raise awareness, promote prevention, and share the importance of protecting our community from schistosomiasis.

We are grateful to our Municipal Mayor Beth Baguio - Ali for her continued support and encouragement of initiatives that empower our youth and advance health awareness in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Barangay Waterfalls, especially to Punong Barangay John Paul Bernardo, for the warm support and assistance. Your cooperation is truly appreciated.

July 29, 2026 || Malampusong nahuman ang Unang Initial Inspection alang sa Zero Open Defecation (ZOD) sa Barangay Pulang Yuta!

Usa kini ka dakong lakang padulong sa mas limpyo, luwas, ug himsog nga komunidad para sa tanan. Pinaagi sa maong inspeksyon, gisusi ang kahimtang sa matag panimalay ug ang ilang sanitation practices aron masiguro nga adunay husto ug angay nga pasilidad ang matag pamilya.

Kini nga inisyatibo nagpakita sa atong paningkamot sa pagpalambo sa panglawas sa komunidad kay ang kahinlo dili lang para sa kaayohan sa palibot, kundi para usab sa paglikay sa sakit ug pagpanalipod sa kinabuhi sa matag usa.

Espesyal nga pasalamat sa mga barangay officials sa Barangay Pulang Yuta sa ilang mainiton nga pagdawat sa hagit aron mahimong Zero Open Defecation (ZOD) ang ilang barangay. Ang inyong kooperasyon ug dedikasyon usa ka dakong bahin sa kalampusan niini nga programa.
