Kasalukuyang isinasagawa sa mga pampublikong paaralan ang Bakuna Eskwela na naglalayong magbigay proteksyon sa mga mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng pagbabakuna sa mga paaralan laban sa mga vaccine preventable diseases (VPDs) tulad ng:

✅ measles;
✅ rubella;
✅ diphtheria; at
✅ human papillomavirus.

Ang Bakuna Eskwela ay para sa mga mag-aaral na kabilang sa mga itinakdang baitang, alinsunod sa mga inirerekomendang bakuna:

Para sa Grade 1 at Grade 7:
✅ Measles-Rubella
✅ Tetanus-Diphtheria

Para sa Grade 4 at Grade 5 na babae:
✅Human Papillomavirus (HPV)

𝗜𝗖𝗧 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗛𝗖 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗖𝗦𝗞𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗡

To strengthen local health information systems and support Universal Health Care (UHC), the DOH-CHD SOCCSKSARGEN Region together with Information Communication and Technology (ICT) stakeholders convened the Regional LHS ML Info 1 Summit on September 24-25, 2026 at the East Asia Royal Hotel, General Santos City.

The summit gathered representatives from LGUs of South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Cotabato, Sarangani, and General Santos City to address gaps and improve compliance with Local Health System Maturity Level (LHS ML) Information 1 requirements.

Key Highlights:

•Review of current LHS ML Info 1 status of provinces and city
•Presentation on LHS ML Info 1 Status Matrix by Ulysses Galo and Jonathan Cabrera of KMITS
•Guidance on health data sharing and proper health information management by Dr. Alvin Marcelo and John Lemuel Dalisay

Facilitated by the DOH-CHD SOCCSKSARGEN ICT Unit, this activity strengthens coordination among local health systems and promotes reliable, connected, and accessible health information for better health services for all.

𝐃𝐎𝐇-𝐂𝐇𝐃 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐂𝐒𝐊𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐔𝐩 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡

The Department of Health-Center for Health Development SOCCSKSARGEN, through its ICT Unit, conducted the Strategic Planning for Region XII Health Information Exchange and Connectathon 2026 on September 15-17, 2026 at the East Asia Royal Hotel, General Santos City.

The 3-day activity brought together health leaders, program managers, and ICT teams to build a more connected health information system — where health facilities can share information faster, more efficiently, and securely.

Highlights of the activity were:

•Strategic sessions for health leaders on risk management, workflow improvement, and innovation.
•Hands-on training for ICT teams on FHIR and REST APIs — key tools for seamless data exchange.
•Strengthening the Philippine Digital Health Strategy in support of Universal Health Care (UHC).

This initiative is a big step towards a more responsive, digital, and unified health system in the region.

𝟯𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 | 𝗖𝗠𝗨 𝐂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝐓𝗼𝗽 𝐒𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝐢𝗻 𝐐𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝐁𝗲𝗲

The Department of Health - Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) SOCCSKSARGEN Region, through the Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (RESU), celebrated the 37th National Statistics Month at the 4th Floor Conference Room, DOH Building, Koronadal City, South Cotabato, on October 5, 2026.

Highlight of the event was the quiz bee participated by different units in the agency. The quiz covered NSM celebration, current events and general knowledge, and DOH issuances and policies. In the said context, the Communication Management Unit (CMU) bagged first place followed by the Health Promotion Unit (HPU) and the representatives of the Health Systems Development (HSD) Cluster as well as the Subnational Research Laboratory (SNRL) and Environmental and Occupational Health (EOH) Cluster tied in third place

Dr. Dyan Zubelle R. Parayao, RESU Head, emphasized that the activity does not only foster enjoyment and learning among DOH employees but also marks the importance of health statistics in ensuring public health solutions are driven by evidence-based data.

Ang El Niño ay nangyayari kapag umiinit ang malaking bahagi ng Karagatang Pasipiko. Dahil dito, mas mainit ang panahon at mas kaunti ang ulan sa loob ng ilang buwan. May ulan pa rin, pero hindi ito kasing dalas ng karaniwan.

Kung may makitang palatandaan ng heat stroke, tumawag agad sa National Emergency Hotline 911 o dalhin sa pinakamalapit na health facility sa inyong lugar.
