Our heartfelt thank you to Cordillera College (CCDC), especially to Dr. Sherry Junette Tagle, for answering our urgent call for blood donors today.
When our blood supply was becoming critically low and patients were waiting for the blood they desperately needed, CCDC did not hesitate to help. You simply said YES. And that yes could mean a life saved, a family given hope, and another tomorrow made possible. ❤️

| LUMUSONG SA BAHA? HUWAG BALEWALAIN.
Sa panahon ng malakas na ulan at pagbaha, mas mataas ang panganib ng Leptospirosis - isang sakit na maaaring makuha mula sa tubig-baha na maaaring kontaminado ng ihi ng infected na hayop, gaya ng daga.
⚠️ Maaaring lumabas ang mga sintomas hanggang 14 na araw pagkatapos ma-expose sa baha.
🩺 Kung lumusong sa baha - may sugat man o wala:
Magpakonsulta agad sa pinakamalapit na health center, ospital, o YAKAP Clinic para sa tamang pagsusuri, payo, at reseta kung kinakailangan.
🟡 May sugat pero hindi lumusong sa baha?
Takpan ang sugat gamit ang waterproof bandage at iwasang ma-expose sa tubig-baha.
🟢 Hindi lumusong at walang sugat?
Iwasan pa rin ang paglusong sa baha. Kung hindi maiiwasan, magsuot ng protective footwear gaya ng bota.
💊 Tandaan: Huwag basta-basta uminom ng antibiotic. Kailangan ang tamang reseta at gabay ng health professional.
Sa baha, mag-ingat. Sa sintomas, huwag maghintay. Magpakonsulta agad.

DOH: BE PREPARED FOR THE EFFECTS OF HAZE ON HEALTH!
Due to the hanging Habagat, smoke from forest fires in Kalimantan, Indonesia, has reached some parts of Luzon and Visayas.
Haze can cause difficulty breathing, coughing, chest pain, itching or watery eyes, and exacerbation of lung diseases such as asthma. Double caution is needed for children, the elderly, and those with pre-existing lung or heart conditions.
As the haze threat continues, wear a mask when going out. Check the wind conditions in your area and prioritize safety. Be prepared for the Haze threat!

Dahil sa hanging Habagat, umabot na sa ilang bahagi ng Luzon at Visayas ang usok mula sa forest fires sa Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Maaaring magdulot ang haze ng hirap sa paghinga, pag-ubo, pananakit ng dibdib, pangangati o pagluluha ng mga mata, at paglala ng mga sakit sa baga tulad ng hika. Dobleng pag-iingat ang kailangan para sa mga bata, matatanda, at mga may dati nang sakit sa baga o puso.

Habang nagpapatuloy ang banta ng haze, mag-suot ng mask kung lalabas ng bahay. Alamin ang lagay ng hangin sa inyong lugar at unahin ang kaligtasan. Maging handa sa banta ng Haze!
