Misis, let me ask you something…

Kailan ka huling tumanggap ng correction nang hindi defensive?

Kasi habang tumatanda tayo, hindi lang success ang dapat nating hinahabol.

We should also learn how to remain teachable.

Minsan kasi, kapag matagal na tayo sa isang industry, marami na tayong achievements, or sanay na tayong tayo ang gumagawa ng decisions…

Unti-unti nating naiisip:

“Alam ko na yan.”

“Mas alam ko to.”

“Ganito talaga dapat.”

And that’s where growth can stop.

Hindi masamang maging confident.

Hindi masamang maniwala sa sarili.

Pero kapag umabot ka sa point na hindi ka na marunong makinig, that’s dangerous.

Because the moment you believe you’re always right…

You stop learning.

You stop listening.

You stop seeing your blind spots.

And eventually, you stop becoming better.

As a wife, mom, businesswoman, and real estate broker, I’ve learned that sometimes the best lessons come from people who don’t agree with us.

Someone can correct you and still respect you.

Someone can disagree with you and still want you to succeed.

And sometimes, hearing “Mali ka dito” is exactly what you need to hear to become better.

So Misis, stay humble enough to say:

“I don’t know.”

“I might be wrong.”

“Teach me.”

“Let me think about it.”

That’s not weakness.

That’s maturity.

You don’t have to prove that you’re the smartest person in every room.

Instead, be the person who is willing to learn from everyone in the room.

Because true wisdom isn’t knowing everything.

It’s knowing that you’ll never know everything.

And remember…

The goal isn’t to always be right.

The goal is to keep becoming better. ❤️
