DOH: 'Wag matakot sa mga side effect ng bakuna. Ang mga ito ay normal lamang at madalang na mangyari.

Kung sakaling makaranas ng side effects, handa ang mga healthcare worker na tumugon sa mga ito.

Ang dapat ikatakot ay ang panganib ng Tigdas at Tigdas-hangin na maaaring humantong sa pagkaospital at kamatayan.

Pumunta sa pinakamalapit na health center o sumangguni sa nurse o midwife sa inyong barangay para sa pagbabakuna.

The Department of Health (DOH) – I locos Region today praised the exceptional municipalities that have already achieved a 95% coverage rate, while urging lagging areas to intensify their efforts during the final week of the drive.

As of August 23, 2026, there were three local government units (LGUs) in I locos Norte that that reached their 95% vaccination target including Carasi (100%), Currimao (96.5%) and Dingras (95.6%).

The region has already achieved 41.9% vaccination rate or a total of 186,376 children vaccinated. For 6-12 months children, 25,184 were vaccinated; 34,733 for 13-23 months; and 126,459 for 24-59 months.

The DOH-Ilocos Region reminds the public that vaccines are safe, effective, and free. Parents and guardians with eligible children who have not yet received their vaccines are strongly encouraged to visit their nearest Rural Health Units (RHUs) or designated community vaccination sites before the campaign concludes at the end of the week

​As of August 24, 2026, umabot na sa 201,642 (45.4%) ang mga batang nabakunahan laban sa tigdas at rubella sa buong Rehiyon I.

​📌 Ayon sa age group:
👶 6–12 buwan: 27,036 (46.9%)
👧 13–23 buwan: 37,444 (41.5%)
👦 24–59 buwan: 137,162 (46.3%)

​📍 Ayon sa lalawigan/ICC:
• Ilocos Norte — 33,734 (79.1%)
• Ilocos Sur — 33,508 (68.8%)
• La Union — 33,040 (52.8%)
• Pangasinan — 95,417 (34.7%)
• Dagupan City — 5,943 (38.6%)

​Patuloy ang campaign upang maabot ang bawat batang kabilang sa target population at mabigyan sila ng dagdag na proteksyon laban sa tigdas at rubella.
