We sincerely acknowledge your concerns and sentiments regarding the services provided at the medical clinic. We understand that every student deserves to be treated with respect, professionalism, and understanding at all times.
However, we also hope for your understanding that the medical clinic caters to multiple responsibilities simultaneously, especially during enrollment periods. Due to the volume of students visiting the medical office daily, our staff manages various concerns beyond the issuance of medical certificates.
Aside from issuing medical certificates, the clinic also accommodates enrollment-related requirements, consultations, medical assessments, and other student health concerns on a daily basis. Because of this, we strictly follow an established process to ensure that all students are accommodated fairly and efficiently.
To help ease the process, options were already provided, including requesting a consolidated list so that medical certificates could be released at one time during our available schedule. While immediate release may not always be possible due to ongoing responsibilities and workload, this does not mean that students’ concerns are being ignored.
Students were also given the option to wait for a short period while the clinic attended to enrollment-related matters. These measures were intended to balance efficiency, fairness, and the timely accommodation of all individuals seeking assistance from the office.
Please understand that no intention was made to embarrass or disrespect anyone. We value our students and continuously strive to provide the best possible service despite operational limitations. At the same time, we respectfully ask for patience, cooperation, and understanding as we carry out our duties and follow the procedures set in place.
Respect and understanding should indeed go both ways, and we remain committed to serving everyone fairly, professionally, and with compassion.
