Congratulations to the Municipality of Laoang for the successful conduct of the Sayaw Galaw Para sa Healthy Pilipinas – Barangay Zumba Choreo Contest!

Base sa pinakahuling ulat ng Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (RESU), walang kumpirmadong kaso ng Mpox sa Eastern Visayas.

Bagama’t wala pang kaso ng Mpox sa rehiyon, mariing pinapaalalahanan ng Department of Health Eastern Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH-EVCHD) ang publiko na maging maalam sa tamang impormasyon tungkol sa sakit na Mpox.

Ang Mpox ay isang nakakahawang sakit na dulot ng Monkeypox virus na may mga sintomas na kahalintulad sa smallpox. Ito ay nagdudulot ng mga pantal na mukhang butlig o pimple na nagtatagal ng 2-4 na linggo na may kasamang lagnat, sakit ng ulo at katawan, paghihina, at pamamaga ng kulani o lymph nodes.

Upang masiguro ang kaligtasan ng inyong sarili at pamilya, narito ang mga dapat gawin at tandaan:
✅Ugaliin ang madalas at tamang paghuhugas ng kamay gamit ang tubig at
sabon, o hand sanitizer.
✅Palaging mag-sanitize ng mga gamit partikular sa mga bagay na palaging
ginagamit o hinahawakan.
✅Kung maaari, iwasan ang mga aktibidad na maaaring magkaroon ng close
contact.
✅Magsuot ng long sleeves, pantalon, at face mask kung nasa pampublikong
lugar.
✅Magpakunsulta sa pinakalamapit na Health Center kung nakakaramdam ng
alinman sa mga sintomas.

Maging responsable sa kalusugan ng sarili at ng kapwa. Higit sa lahat, manatiling updated sa mga opisyal na anunsyo ng DOH at sa mga mapagkakatiwalaang news sources upang makaiwas sa maling impormasyon.

Tandaan, ang pagkakaroon ng disiplina at tamang kaalaman ay makakatulong upang maprotektahan ang buong komunidad.
