Pahibalo sa mga parents nga ang kids ga-therapy sa STAC-LLC:
Wala'y therapy karong Wednesday to Friday (May 6 – 8, 2026) following sa declaration nga special non-working holidays ni nga mga adlawa.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Malacañang has declared May 6 to 8, 2026 as special non-working days in in the City of Lapu-Lapu and the Municipality of Cordova, Province of Cebu as stated in a proclamation signed on May 5, 2026, by Executive Secretary Ralph Recto.

The declaration supports preparations for the 48th ASEAN Summit and Related Meetings. The national government issued this measure to prioritize:

• Public Safety: To enable security forces to secure delegates and venues.

• Traffic Management: To reduce road congestion and maintain smooth movement for delegates and residents during the summit.

𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃

Lapu Lapu City Mayor Cindi King Chan has suspended face to face classes in all public and private schools at all levels on December 5 to 6, 2025, in anticipation of Tropical Depression Wilma. The city is under an orange rainfall warning, with expected rainfall between 100 and 200 mm.

Mayor Cindi advised students to stay at home and shift to modular learning. She also asked parents to guide their children in completing their modules, stressing the importance of education while keeping everyone safe during the weather disturbance.

The city government prioritizes the welfare of students and the community during times of disaster.

The Emergency Operations Center deactivated at 5:00 PM today after the weather improved following Tropical Depression Verbena. The alert level shifted from Blue Alert to White Alert at 3:00 PM on November 25, 2025.

Face to face classes will resume tomorrow, Wednesday, November 26, in all levels for public and private schools.

Pagkahuman nga gipaubos ang atong syudad sa Signal No. 1 tungod sa Bagyong Verbena labi na sa heavy rainfall warning nga gipagawas sa PAGASA, magpabiling suspendedo ang face-to-face classes ugma, November 25, both sa PUBLIC ug PRIVATE schools.

Matod pa sa PAGASA, posibleng mokusog ang pag-uwan sa alas 2 sa kadlawon maong ato nang gimanduan ang mga residente sa mga bahaong lugar nga mo-proceed na sa atong mga evacuation sites. Ang inyung kaluwasan maoy atong priority maong akong gihangyo nga magtinabangay kita ug maminaw sa sugyot sa syudad.

CLASSES ARE SUSPENDED

As Anticipatory Action nunot sa gipagawas nga Heavy Rainfall Warning o Orange Rainfall Warning sa PAGASA ug pagkahuman sa atong pakighinabi sa atong CDRRMO ug DepEd Lapu-Lapu City Division, atong gi-suspende ang face-to-face classes ugma Monday November 24, 2025. Ang safety sa atong mga students ug teachers nagpabilin nga atong priority. Akong gihangyo ang mga students nga ato gihapon ipadayon ang atong pagkat-on pinaagi sa modules.

Sa mga private schools, anaa gihapon sa kamot sa mga school presidents ug admins ang desisyon pero atong gi-encourage nga unahon sa kanunay ang ilang safety. At the end of the day, di ta gusto nga maabtan sila padung sa eskwelahan o pauli ba kaha sa ilang tagsa ka mga panimalay nga mabasa intawn sa uwan nga posibleng rason nga masakit sila.

Kids, stay at home lang ta ha. Amping!
