The Woman behind Skin Nurture.

What costs to be an Entrepreneur?

Being an Entrepreneur is a continuous process of learning. It will costs you sleepless nights, fair shares of anxieties, disappointments, discouragements and doubts will take a large chunk of the equation but it should not stop you no matter what the circumstances are.

I started Skin Nurture last August 2020, in the midst of the lockdown due to the rapid rise of covid cases. It was an idea given to me by someone (Thank you, BTW.) When the idea was proposed to me, I studied the ins and outs of the distribution industry. Coming from a restaurant, property management and real estate industry, it is totally different in so many levels but it still points out to a one main target which is to produce SALES and get customers! After a keen study and conceptualization, I acted upon it. Register the business, get suppliers, get crash courses on soap making and creating skin care from scratch, do the layouts of the packaging, check out the logistics which was quite a challenge because of limited access to the borders etc. All these happens in a span of a month. Yes, it was fast coz whenever I want something, I want to have it done NOW. I am not sure if that can be a strength or what. 🤣

I shared my plans to build Skin Nurture to my friends and families. Some were enthusiastic about the idea and gave their 101 % to support me when my products were launched. Some were enthusiastic with their words like “oh yes that is nice! I’m excited for you!” then, that’s just it. You know what I mean?🤣🤣 oh at least they are enthusiastic! Somehow they will morally help you. 🤣🤣

I boosted our presence digitally that reached people nationwide. In a year, we were able to get more or less than 200 Resellers and 40 Distributors. And believe me when I say “TALK TO STRANGERS.” Coz they are more than willing to support you than those whom you have known for years. PROVEN since birth. Char 🤣🤣

As we are in our 2nd year this month, we are continually doing our best to innovate as our goal is to provide “High Quality” yet “Affordable” skincare and wellness products. We are moving slowly but surely and one step at a time. Our resources are limited and all started from scratch. It is the perseverance that mattered.
