Hearwell Medical Philippines is proud to support the 1st Mindanao Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) and Thyroid Ablation Seminar and Workshop, held at Southern Philippines Medical Center in Davao City last September 26, 2026. 💙

It was a great opportunity to connect with ENT specialists and healthcare professionals from across Mindanao while showcasing some of our hearing and communication solutions.

One of the highlights of our exhibit was the Electrolarynges Labex, a voice rehabilitation solution especially relevant to patients who have undergone laryngectomy and other procedures affecting voice production.

We were also happy to share copies of the latest issue of ENT and Audiology News, bringing current developments and insights in ENT and audiology closer to our colleagues in the field.

Beyond hearing and balance, Hearwell Medical continues to support technologies that help improve hearing, communication, and quality of life.

Congratulations to Bicol Medical Center – Bmc Newborn Hearing Screening on the successful Unveiling and Blessing of their new equipment for the Hearing and Balance Center! 🎉👂

Hearwell Medical Philippines is proud to have been part of this important milestone by supplying advanced diagnostic and rehabilitation technologies that will help strengthen hearing and vestibular services in the Bicol Region:

🔹 Natus ICS Impulse – Videonystagmography (VNG) and Video Head Impulse Test (vHIT)
🔹 Resonance r27a Audiometer – equipped for VRA, CPA, Free-Field, and High-Frequency Audiometry
🔹 BalanceEye VRT – Virtual Reality–based Vestibular Rehabilitation

More than providing equipment, we believe that technology creates the greatest impact when healthcare professionals are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to use it effectively.

Together with the installation, our team conducted a 3-day intensive workshop combining lectures, clinical discussions, interpretation, and hands-on training with the devices supporting the BMC team from understanding the fundamentals to applying them in clinical practice.

Our special thanks to ACAP President Maeden Cayabyab, MClAud for generously sharing her expertise on Behavioral Audiometry and Speech Audiometry.

We also extend our appreciation to our very own Product Audiologist, Juan Paulo Alquero, MClAud and Chief Audiologist, Claire Manlapas, MClAud for sharing their knowledge and clinical experience in Vestibular Assessment and Vestibular Rehabilitation, including hands-on training and clinical interpretation using the newly installed technologies.

And, of course, our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals of Bicol Medical Center for their enthusiasm and active participation throughout the three-day program.

This milestone also marks Bicol Medical Center as the first institution in the Bicol Region to be equipped with these specialized hearing, vestibular assessment, and rehabilitation technologies.

🎧 Audiometry Training & Equipment Calibration at Southern Isabela Medical Center

Hearwell Medical Philippines recently conducted hands-on audiometry training using the Resonance r25c Diagnostic Audiometer and Middle Ear Analyzer with the ENT residents of Southern Isabela Medical Center.

Alongside the training, our team also performed equipment calibration to help ensure accurate and reliable results for their audiology and ENT services.
