Traveling is like a double-edged sword, offering both exhilaration and exhaustion in equal measure. The excitement of travel is often tempered by the exhaustion that comes with it, a constant balancing act between the desire for new experiences and the need for rest and rejuvenation. So to help support our bodies, I apply oils to boost our immune system because we've been traveling both by air and this time by land with almost the same equal amount of super loooong travel time 21 and 24 hrs or more by land.

I'm not an expert in cooking but can be learned if done consistently.

After the reset, I have learned how to intentionally prepare healthy meals for the family to prevent further diseases that are common nowadays especially cancer.

So here are 5 common foods to avoid to prevent cancer this list is from PeaceDiet.org. and healthline.

1. FRENCH FRIES - is associated with cancer deep frying potatoes can produce acrylamides which are carcinogenic.
2. RED MEAT - is now considered a probable carcinogen and processed meats are classified as a class 1 carcinogen by the International Agency on research for cancer.
3. SOFTDRINKS - research now shows that one softdrink, sugared or artificially sweetened beverage per day is associated with over 36% higher cancer risk.
4. ALCOHOL - When you consume alcohol, your liver breaks down alcohol into acetaldehyde, a carcinogenic compound.
5. WHITE BREAD - is also associated with an increase in colon cancer, whole wheat bread is associated with less cancer.

Notice that these 5 foods are what makes up a typical fast food meal with a burger, fries and a softdrink so to prevent cancer AVOID these 5 foods.

I still eat my favorite food/s but in portions not to deprive but I find time to pause and do a reset to clean up the inside.
