𝐌𝐒𝐂 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 | 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

The Medicine Student Council A.Y. 2026–2027 of UPHR-JFSM gathered online this September to listen, assess, and plan the council’s next steps in serving the student body.

The council discussed:

📌 LE1 student concerns and welfare
📌 JONELTAlakayan responses and identified areas for action
📌 Strengthening student representation, communication, and support systems
📌 Upcoming MSC projects and student-centered initiatives

More than addressing concerns as they arise, MSC continues to work toward a system where students are heard, concerns are followed through, and support remains accessible to every year level.

As we move forward, we remain committed to building a council that is responsive, accessible, and centered on the needs and welfare of the student body.

Together, we continue to uphold that 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠.

Donation Drive in partnership with AMSA‑Jonelta and PERPS CES

JFSM students came together to share kindness through in‑kind donations. From food packs to hygiene essentials, every contribution reflects the spirit of service and compassion that defines our community. Monetary donations were managed by AMSA‑Jonelta, while PERPS CES handled the repacking and distribution.

Together, we can be the light in someone’s darkest hour. 💚

As we celebrate our 30th Foundation Day, we invite everyone to showcase their creativity and be part of this meaningful milestone through the Poster Making Contest. 👩🏻‍🎨

Theme: “Three Decades of Excellence, Service, and Shaping Physicians for the Nation” 🩺

Showcase your creativity and help us commemorate this meaningful milestone. The winning entry will receive a ₱5,000 cash prize.

We encourage everyone to participate and be part of this special celebration.

Our brothers and sisters affected by the recent typhoon need us now more than ever. The UPHR-JFSM Medicine Student Council, together with AMSA-Jonelta and PERPS CES, is calling on your generosity through our Donation Drive.

📌 Open to everyone: Non-AMSA members and non-UPHR-JFSM students are welcome to donate.
📌 Every bag of rice, every bottle of water, every medicine, and every simple item you give will bring comfort and hope to those who have lost something.
📌 Accepting donations until Sept. 1, 2026 (Tuesday) 11:00 AM.
📌 For AMSA-JONELTA members: 1 AMSA point will be given for each in-kind donations and 1 AMSA point for monetary donations also, with total earnings of 2 AMSA points.
📌 For Monetary donation: You can send your donations in the link provided by AMSA-JONELTA below.

JVoice is launching an ongoing project where they’ll take your song requests and perform official video covers right on their FB page! Got a song that brings good energy, a chill study vibe, or just a track you love? Drop it in!

To keep the music positive and fun for the whole Jonelta community, please take note of the following:
1. All Requests Welcome: Request a song just to hear it covered, to boost everyone's mood, or add an optional dedication (anonymous or named)!
2. Keep It Clean & Positive: Explicit, vulgar, or inappropriate tracks will not be accepted.
3. Good Vibes Only: Songs intended to diss, embarrass, target, or disparage any individual or group are strictly prohibited.
4. Final Selection: JVoice reserves the right to select and arrange songs based on feasibility and overall feel.
