๐๐๐๐: The ๐๐จ๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ญ ๐๐ข๐๐จ๐ฅ, through the ๐๐จ๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐-๐๐ง๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ข๐๐จ๐ฅ (๐๐๐๐๐๐-๐๐๐), successfully conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) Training for Thirty-Seven (37) participants from Coast Guard District Bicol, its Stations, and OPCON Units on 11โ14 August 2026 at the Function Hall, Coast Guard District Bicol, Brgy Rawis, Legazpi City, Albay.
The CGNSSU-BCL continuously conducts BLS training as part of its commitment to strengthen the emergency response capabilities and promote a culture of preparedness among Coast Guard personnel.
The training aimed to equip participants with essential, life-saving skills and knowledge necessary to respond effectively during medical emergencies. Participants underwent comprehensive lectures and intensive hands-on training on high-quality Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with Automated External Defibrillator (AED), rescue breathing using a Bag-Valve-Mask (BVM), and Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO) management.
Through continuous training and skills development, the CGNSSU-BCL remains committed to building a competent, confident, and CPR-ready workforce capable of responding promptly and effectively when every second counts.
