Reframes are powerful.

Sometimes the biggest roadblock to get through a change can simply be our mindset.

If everyone was able to just eat healthier, most of us wouldn’t be here. Unfortunately, that is not the case.

I see many posts on Instagram about throwing out rules around food and allowing ourselves to indulge in the foods that we want. In many cases, however, these are foods that are designed to be addictive and we end up trying to rigidly control our thoughts.

We can have more positive relationships with food while also nourishing ourselves.

The key for me has been observation.

Instead of simply thinking about what foods I can or cannot eat, I notice how I feel. It’s a lot easier to avoid foods when you know you’ll feel like crap in a few hours.

We can all afford to be less rigid and easier on ourselves.
