The Coast Guard Medical Station-Bicol in partnership with Legazpi City Health Office and Department of Health Regional Office-V conducted Mobile Blood Donation to Headquarters Coast Guard District Bicol and OPCON Units personnel on 10 March 2026.

CGDBCL has produced a total of forty-two (42) successful blood donors who can potentially help one hundred twenty-six (126) lives, as a single whole blood donation can be separated into three components to help up to three (3) patients.

With the growing demand of blood products, MEDS-BCL intends to conduct regular mobile blood donation to help increase the blood products in the province of Albay and the whole Bicol Region.
