A moment of pride and gratitude for the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Libungan and its partner barangays as recipients of the Bayanihan Kadugo and Sandugo Awards 2026, recognizing their continued commitment to promoting voluntary blood donation and helping save lives in the community.

The Bayanihan Kadugo Awards 2026 was conducted by the SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Blood Center, whereas the Regional Sandugo 2026 Awarding Ceremony was conducted by the Department of Health – Center for Health Development SOCCSKSARGEN Region through the National Voluntary Blood Services Program (NVBSP). This recognition celebrates the collective efforts of RHU Libungan, the barangays, health workers, volunteers, and community partners in sustaining this life-saving advocacy.

Our heartfelt appreciation to Provincial Governor Emmylou Lala Taliño-Mendoza, for the continued support and encouragement toward programs that strengthen healthcare services and promote the well-being of our communities.

We also express our deepest gratitude to our Municipal Mayor Apol Lumanlan-Cuan for the unwavering support to the RHU Libungan and its health programs. Your dedication to the health and welfare of the people of Libungan is truly valued and appreciated.

The RHU Libungan, headed by Dr. Nikki Regine P. Pader-Aying, Municipal Health Officer, together with Blood Program Coordinator Krishia Mae A. Madrid, RMT, MPA, extends our heartfelt appreciation to all the participating barangays, health workers, volunteers, and blood donors for their invaluable contributions to the blood donation activities. 💚 Balik Ngiti Para Kay Lolo at Lola 2026 💚

Another year of bringing smiles and meaningful services to our beloved senior citizens through the Balik Ngiti Para Kay Lolo at Lola Program, an annual initiative of the Provincial Government providing denture services, including fitting and provision of dentures, to eligible senior citizens. 🦷✨

We are grateful to our Provincial Governor Emmylou Lala Taliño-Mendoza for making this meaningful program possible and for continuously bringing essential services closer to our senior citizens. 💚

Our sincere appreciation to our Municipal Mayor Apol Lumanlan-Cuan for her continued support to programs that promote the health and well-being of our senior citizens.

The RHU Libungan, headed by Dr. Nikki Regine P. Pader-Aying, Municipal Health Officer, was honored to host and facilitate this year’s activity, together with Dr. Joseph Wilson Bongcais, DMD, Provincial Dentist, and Ms. Alene Rose Mondejar, RND, Oral Health Program Coordinator, who helped facilitate the denture services for our Lolos and Lolas.

🌟 Integrated Health Symposium 2026 🌟

Sa temang “Knowledge is Protection: Empowering Youth through Awareness”, matagumpay na isinagawa ng RHU Libungan sa pamumuno ni Dr. Nikki Regine Pader-Aying, RN, CFP, katuwang ang DepEd at PNP Libungan, ang isang makabuluhang pagtitipon para sa kabataan.

Sa symposium, tinalakay ni Aljane P. Dioquino, RN – Adolescent Health and Development Program Coordinator ang kahalagahan ng pag-iwas sa teenage pregnancy. Ipinaliwanag nina Jonathan P. Aguilar, RN – DOH HRH, Dennis G. Bañaga, RN – DOH HRH at Princess Nicole Apostol, RMT – Assistant HIV Program Coordinator ang mga panganib ng HIV at masamang epekto ng paninigarilyo. Nagbigay naman ng mahalagang kaalaman ang PNP Libungan tungkol sa anti-bullying upang mapalakas ang proteksyon ng kabataan laban sa pang-aabuso.

👉 Ang rationale ng aktibidad na ito ay malinaw: ang kaalaman ay sandata laban sa panganib. Sa pamamagitan ng tamang impormasyon, mas nagiging handa ang kabataan na gumawa ng matalinong desisyon para sa kanilang kalusugan, kinabukasan, at kapakanan.

🤝 Ang symposium na ito ay bahagi ng patuloy na health initiatives na suportado ng ating Municipal Mayor, Engr. Angel Rose L. Cuan, at naging posible sa pakikipagtulungan ng Nicaan HS and Barongis HS Faculty & Staff.

✨ Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang kalusugan, kaalaman, at proteksyon para sa mas maliwanag na kinabukasan ng kabataan!

LISTAHAN NG MGA SERBISYO AT KAUKULANG BAYARIN

Para sa kaalaman ng ating mga mamamayan, narito ang opisyal na Listahan ng mga Serbisyo at Kaukulang Bayarin ng Libungan Super Health Center.

Ang mga nakasaad na bayarin ay alinsunod sa Municipal Ordinance No. 2018-063, "An Ordinance Approving the Updated Revenue Code of the Municipality of Libungan."
Patuloy ang Libungan Super Health Center sa pagbibigay ng dekalidad, abot-kaya, at madaling maabot na serbisyong pangkalusugan. Mayroon ding mga LIBRENG serbisyo at PhilHealth benefit packages na maaaring ma-avail ng mga kwalipikadong kliyente.

🎉 Congratulations, Barangay Cabaruyan! 🎉

The Municipal Health Office of Libungan proudly congratulates Barangay Cabaruyan for being officially declared as a Zero Open Defecation (ZOD) Barangay.

This milestone reflects the community’s commitment to sanitation, public health, and collective action.

Our sincere gratitude to the Provincial Government of Cotabato, headed by Governor Emmylou “Lala” Taliño-Mendoza, for its commitment to the successful implementation of the Zero Open Defecation (ZOD) Program.

We also thank the Provincial Health Office of Cotabato, headed by Dr. Rabaya, through the technical guidance of Emelinda Diesto, PhATSS Coordinator and Provincial Sanitary Inspector, for her technical guidance and assistance from implementation to the successful final ZOD validation.

We likewise acknowledge the Local Government Unit of Libungan, headed by Municipal Mayor Apol Lumanlan-Cuan Cuan, for its continued commitment to strengthening public health and sanitation programs in the municipality.

Congratulations to the Barangay Council of Cabaruyan, headed by Barangay Captain Joelan Palma, together with the BHW, BNS, BPAT, Purok Leaders , community volunteers, and all residents, for making this achievement possible.

Just a little more effort! The Municipality of Libungan is now one step closer to being officially declared a Municipality-wide Zero Open Defecation (ZOD) Municipality. Let us continue working together toward cleaner, healthier, and more resilient communities.

Strengthening TB prevention and control at the community level 💚

📍MAY 26,2026 | Barangay Kapayawi

As part of the continuing health initiatives supported by our Municipal Mayor Apol Lumanlan-Cuan, the Rural Health Unit of Libungan successfully conducted a TB Active Case Finding activity in Barangay Kapapayawi.

The activity featured TB health education sessions, consultation, and enrollment of identified TB patients to ensure timely treatment and proper case management. Through these community-based interventions, RHU Libungan continues its commitment to improving early detection and bringing healthcare services closer to the people.

The RHU team expresses its sincere gratitude to the Barangay Officials, Barangay Health Workers, and residents for their support and cooperation in the successful conduct of the activity.

Together, let us continue working hand in hand towards a TB-free community. ✨

Spreading awareness, promoting acceptance 💚

In celebration of World Autism Awareness Month, the Integrated Provincial Health Office of Cotabato Province, headed by Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Eva C. Rabaya, successfully spearheaded an Autism Awareness Activity in the Municipality of Libungan, in collaboration with the DOH SOCCSKSARGEN Region, ICAREs Sinawingan Center, and the Rural Health Unit of Libungan.

We are deeply honored and grateful to the Provincial Government of Cotabato, under the leadership of our Governor Emmylou Lala Taliño-Mendoza for choosing the Municipality of Libungan to host this significant and meaningful initiative.

We express our sincere appreciation to our Municipal Mayor Apol Lumanlan-Cuan , for the support in ensuring the success of this activity and making it possible.

We likewise recognize our 1st District Board Members, BM Shirlyn Macasarte and BM Sittie Eljorie Antao, for their consistent commitment to initiatives that uplift and empower our communities.

The Rural Health Unit of LGU Libungan, under the leadership of our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Nikki Regine P. Pader-Aying, successfully conducted the Orientation on Community-Based Intensified TB Case Finding and TB Preventive Treatment for our Barangay Health Workers and midwives.

This activity was made possible through the steadfast support of our Municipal Mayor Apol Lumanlan-Cuan, whose strong commitment and leadership continue to uplift and strengthen our local health programs.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) and the Integrated Provincial Health Office for their continued partnership, technical support, and valuable contribution in strengthening our TB program.

Together, we continue to empower our frontliners and move closer to a TB-free community.

Bringing TB services closer to the community 💚

The Rural Health Unit of Libungan conducted a TB Active Case Finding activity in Barangay Sinapangan as one of its key strategies to strengthen TB control, with the continued support of our Municipal Mayor Apol Lumanlan-Cuan in advancing local health initiatives.

This strategic intervention aims to improve early detection and ensure prompt management of TB cases through integrated services, including medical consultation and health education led by Dra. Norhanna Kabunto, DTTB, together with Rosemae Padua, RN, Municipal TB Program Coordinator. The activity also included initiation of treatment for identified patients and registration to the YAKAP program.

Under the leadership of Dra. Nikki Regine P. Pader-Aying, RHU Libungan continues to strengthen its community-based TB strategies to deliver accessible, timely, and quality healthcare services.

Special thanks to Barangay Captain Lito D. Barat, Kagawad on Health, Richell Barat, and the Barangay Health Workers for their valuable cooperation and assistance.

Together, we move closer to a TB-free community.
