A pregnant woman searching for proper support. A person with a disability facing barriers instead of understanding. A grieving mother left to carry her loss without the care and comfort she deserved. These are not isolated experiences — they reflect the reality of many unheard voices in our communities.

Care should never depend on privilege, access, or circumstance. No one should feel unseen or unsupported during the moments they need help the most.

Through the EquiLit Care Project, we continue to advocate for equity, compassion, and accessible support for all. Because care should never be selective. It should be a right given to everyone, no matter their situation.

Just like the song 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝘼𝙧𝙢𝙨 by SZA,
the EquiLit Care Project believes in welcoming everyone with open arms—𝙣𝙤 𝙟𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙣𝙤 𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙨, 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮. 🌿✨

We are devoted to creating safe spaces where equity, learning, and compassion grow together. Because when we lead with open arms, we make room for understanding, empowerment, and change. 💙

This website is created to share our mission, projects, and resources that aim to support equality, learning, and care for everyone. We hope this platform helps more people learn about our advocacy and join us in making a positive difference in the community.

𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚—𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩. It should never depend on where you come from or what you have. No one should have to beg, wait endlessly, or be overlooked just to receive the care they deserve. Real change begins when voices rise, awareness grows, and people choose to act.
We exist to challenge this reality by promoting awareness, equity, and genuine access, so healthcare becomes something people can truly experience—not just a promise they’re told to believe in.

Scan and visit our website today, and grow with us as we continue to promote equity and inclusivity for all. 💙

New data from the Philippine Statistics Authority show that Filipino families are still carrying a heavy healthcare burden. In 2024, total health spending in the Philippines reached ₱1.56 trillion, yet household out-of-pocket payments accounted for 42.7 % of that is amounting to ₱615.16 billion paid directly by families for medical care.

This means nearly half of healthcare costs are still paid by individuals instead of being fully covered by government support or insurance, deepening inequality in access to quality care and financial protection.

Despite national health spending rising, many Filipinos, especially low-income and rural households, continue to struggle when they get sick showing that the healthcare system still fails to provide affordable and equitable coverage for all.

Healthcare is a right—but the numbers tell a different story.
