LMH CELEBRATES IPC WEEK 2026

The hospital joined the celebration of the Infection Prevention and Control Week last July 6-10, 2026. The IPC point person, Nurse Arlita Bandilla, spearheaded the event, which started through a health educational activity at the OPD building on July 7. It focused on the importance of handwashing, the basic but effective handwashing steps and the ways to avoid or prevent diarrhea.

A short training and re-echo was done later, by July 10, in connection to the IPC policies and guidelines, which was attended by the LMH staff. The activity also included pre- and post-tests to gauge the knowledge of each staff member and ended with a return demonstration on how to perform handwashing thoroughly.
