Acknowledgment and Appreciation for the Donation of Hospital Beds

On behalf of Don Modesto Formilleza Sr. Memorial Hospital and the patients we serve, we extend our deepest gratitude to Governor Trina Firmalo-Fabic for her generous donation of five (5) new hospital beds, personally funded from her own resources. The provision of a Radiologist at Don Modesto Formilleza Sr. Memorial Hospital is an important step in further strengthening and leveling up the hospital’s healthcare services, in line with the vision and desire of Dr. Benedict G. Anatalio, Chief of Hospital and Governor Trina Firmalo-Fabic.

Having a radiologist who can interpret and read ultrasound results will greatly improve the accuracy and quality of diagnostic services. This will ensure timely diagnosis, proper management and better patient outcome. Also, this initiative will allow the hospital to better cater patients coming from the southern part of Tablas. Instead of traveling to other areas for diagnostic procedures and interpretation, patients can conveniently avail of these services at this hospital, reducing delays, expenses, and inconvenience.

This development reflects the hospital’s commitment to providing accessible, quality and patient-centered healthcare services to the community.

Flag Raising Ceremony and Site Assessment Activity with Governor Trina Alejandra Firmalo - Fabic

Today marked the first attendance at the flag raising ceremony of Gov. Trina Alejandra Firmalo-Fabic. Following the ceremony, a meeting was conducted to assess the hospital’s requirement for level 1 accreditation. An inspection of the wards and patient areas was also carried out to evaluate facility conditions and patient care. Observations from the assessment will inform recommendation for improvements to ensure continued delivery of quality healthcare services.

Department of Health Regulation, Licensing and Enforcement Division (DOH RLED) Team Visits Don Modesto Formilleza Sr. Memorial Hospital (DMFSMH) for Licensing Compliance Assessment

DMFSMH, March 16, 2026 - The DOH RLED Team recently conducted a thorough site visit to the hospital to assess its compliance with health standards and evaluate the adequacy of its documentation for licensing pruposes. Regional Director of DOH MIMAROPA Visits Don Modesto Formilleza Sr. Memorial Hospital , Inspects Facilities and Supports Upgrade to Level 1 Heath Facility

On March 11, 2026 Department of Health MiMaRoPa Pesonnel lead by Regional Director Dr. Rodolfo Antonio M. Albornoz together with the Provincial DOH Office staff was welcomed by Don Modesto Formilleza Sr. Memorial Hospital staff. This visit included an evaluation of the hospitals infrastucture, medical equipment, staffing capacity and overall service delivery. He also took time to meet hospital’s chief and section supervisors to understand their working conditions and address any concerns they might have. The hospital’s management emphasized the importance of such an upgrade, as the current infrastucture and equipments are sometimes insufficient to handle the increasing number of patients, particularly those requiring immediate medical attentions. His visit to the hospital represents a significant step forward in healthcare development. His full support for the hospital’s uograde to level 1 facility signals a hopeful future for improved medical care and an enhanced ability to meet the needs of people in the southern part of Romblon. All these are possible through collaboration with the Provincial Goverment through Governor Trina Firmalo-Fabic
