⭐️ November 22, 2025, last day of CMU’s Training of Trainers and Technical Backstopping on BIDANI, culminated with the Situational Analysis workshop, where participants applied their learning using case community information that can be generated through the BMIS web-app. ⭐️

The session closed with statements of commitment, as participants shared how they will integrate BMIS into their work to strengthen nutrition-sensitive development planning in their barangays.

Another meaningful step forward in empowering local leaders for evidence-based development. 🌱📊

✨Day 2 of Central Mindanao University’s Training of Trainers and Technical Backstopping on BIDANI Implementation pushed participants further into hands-on learning as the CMU - University Extension Office, led a full day of data-driven capacity building.✨

From the BMIS overview to in-depth sessions on the BMIS Family Data Sheet and Needs Assessment workshop, participants learned how to identify and analyze community needs from BMIS data, which are essential for nutrition-sensitive planning.

With guidance from UPLB-BIDANI Network Program resource persons, the team strengthened their skills in organizing, encoding, and analyzing barangay information— crucial steps toward empowering local development planning. 📊🌱

The CMU Office of Extension successfully kicked off Day 1 of the Training of Trainers and Technical Backstopping on BIDANI Implementation yesterday, November 20, 2025.

Held at the Office of the President and joined by UPLB BIDANI Network Program as resource persons, the sessions oriented participants on the BIDANI strategy, the mandates of SUCs and LGUs, and the role of SUCs in advancing nutrition-in-development. CMU-BIDANI also shared their experiences, setting the tone for deeper learning in the next sessions.

A strong start toward building CMU-BIDANI’s capability to champion nutrition-centered, data-driven barangay development. 🌱✨
