Strengthening Our Frontline Health Workforce! ๐Ÿ’š

The Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Maguing conducted the distribution of kits to our dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) in recognition of their invaluable commitment and continuous service in delivering quality healthcare to our communities.

These kits serve as an important resource to support our BHWs as they carry out their vital responsibilities in promoting health, preventing diseases, and providing essential services at the barangay level.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our Minister Dr. Kadil M. Sinolinding Jr., our Provincial Health Officer II Dr. Alinader D. Minalang and BHW coordinator Dr. Alliah Matuan, RN, and of course our MHO Anisa Hadji Salic Yunos and our DTTB Dr. johayrah T. Mambuay,RN for their unwavering support and commitment to strengthening community health services through this initiative.

The Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Maguing successfully celebrated Nutrition Day 2026 on July 20, 2026 at the RHU Maguing Compound, Lilod Borocot, Maguing, Lanao del Sur.

The celebration highlighted the importance of proper nutrition and healthy lifestyles through informative health education sessions, fun-filled games, and interactive activities that encouraged participants to adopt healthier eating habits and make nutrition a priority for their families.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated RHU Maguing staff, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), Barangay Nutrition Workers (BNWs), volunteers, and all participants for their active participation and commitment to making this celebration a success.

Special thanks to our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Anisa H. Yunos, for her continued guidance and leadership, our Doctor to the Barrio, Dr. Johayra T. Mambuay, for her unwavering support, and our Nutrition Program Focal Person, Rayhannah G. Esmail, RN, for her dedication and hard work in organizing this meaningful activity.

Alhamdulillah! We proudly celebrate the successful conduct of the Migrants Health Program, an initiative dedicated to promoting health awareness and providing essential health information and services to migrant workers and their families.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our Provincial Health Officer ll, Dr. Alinader D. , for his guidance, support, and commitment to improving the health and well-being of our communities.

Special thanks to our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Anisa H. Yunos, for her leadership, dedication, and unwavering efforts in ensuring the successful implementation of this program.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to Municipal Social Worker Maโ€™am Soraida Mocadi for her valuable support and partnership in making this activity meaningful and impactful for our migrant workers and their families.

The PuroKalusogan program in Barangay Balintao was successfully conducted through the collaborative efforts of our healthcare workers, barangay officials, and active community participants. This meaningful activity brought essential healthcare services closer to the people and promoted awareness on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. ๐Ÿ’š

The activity offered various health services including:

โœ… Blood pressure monitoring
โœ… Blood sugar monitoring
โœ… Cervical cancer awareness and health education
โœ… TB program services and awareness campaign

Last May 19, 2026, the Free Chest X-Ray and Early Tuberculosis (TB) Detection Activity conducted by the Ministry of Health BARMM in partnership with the Maguing Rural Health Unit and Local Government Unit of Maguing, held at the Maguing Municipal Gym, was successfully conducted through the collective efforts and support of the community.

We sincerely thank our supportive Municipal Mayor, Hon. Fahad Delna Molok, for his unwavering support and commitment to the health and welfare of the people of Maguing.
