Youth Care Program: Empowering the Next Generation
On August 7 and 11, 2026, the Governor XJ Romualdo Youth Care Program conducted educational lectures for Grade 7 learners of Mahinog National High School and Sixto A. Abao National High School, in partnership with the Municipal Health Office.
The activity focused on critical issues affecting the health, safety, protection, and overall well-being of young people, including teenage pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, child marriage, and cyberbullying.
Through these informative sessions, the learners were provided with age-appropriate knowledge and practical guidance to help them better understand the challenges they may encounter during adolescence. The discussions also emphasized the importance of responsible decision-making, self-protection, respect for others, and seeking appropriate support when faced with difficult situations.
The expertise and commitment of our speakers to youth health education contributed significantly to the success of the activity and provided the learners with reliable information on matters that are essential to their development and well-being.
The Governor XJ Romualdo Youth Care Program recognizes that protecting and empowering young people requires sustained education, collaboration, and community support. By equipping the youth with accurate information and appropriate guidance, we help them develop the confidence and capacity to make informed and responsible choices.
Investing in our youth means investing in the future of our community. Let us continue to educate, protect, and empower them toward a healthier, safer, and brighter future.
