Piercing your infant’s ears is abuse.

They cannot consent.
They cannot understand pain.
They cannot tell you to stop.

You’re intentionally causing pain to a baby for aesthetic reasons—not medical, not necessary, not urgent. Purely cosmetic. For you.

“But I did it and I’m fine” isn’t an argument.
“But it’s cultural” doesn’t magically turn pain into consent.
“But she won’t remember” is exactly the problem.

If an adult did this to someone without consent, we’d call it what it is.
Doing it to a baby doesn’t make it softer — it makes it worse.

Wait until they can decide.
Anything else is about control, not care.
