Making a difference does not always mean changing the world overnight. Sometimes, it means changing the world for just one person.

It may be one patient comforted, one woman given hope, one family helped, or one burden made a little lighter.

So I give what I can—my time, my resources, my expertise, my talent, and most importantly, my heart. Even through long days, unseen sacrifices, and late-night journeys, I continue to show up with the hope that my small efforts will matter.

Because no act of kindness is ever too small when it is done with love. And sometimes, the smallest gesture can make the greatest difference.

I am deeply grateful and humbled to receive the GAWAD ALAB, which will be given tonight by Calamba Medical Center.

This recognition means so much to me because it goes beyond medicine. It reminds me that being a physician also gives us the opportunity—and the responsibility—to educate, inspire, connect with people, and use every platform available to promote better health and a more caring community.

My heartfelt thanks to Calamba Medical Center for this honor and for allowing me to be part of its programs, advocacies, and continuing efforts to reach more people through social media and public engagement.

Hope does not always arrive as a grand miracle. Sometimes, it comes as a hand reaching out, a compassionate voice, or a person who simply chooses not to look away.

My heart has always gone to the underserved, the forgotten, and the lost—those who may have little access to care and even fewer opportunities to be heard.

To them, I hope every act of service quietly says: You are seen. You matter. You are not alone.

We may not be able to change the whole world, but through kindness and compassion, we can bring light into someone’s darkest moment—and perhaps help them believe in tomorrow again.

It has been quite some time since I last did a TV guesting, as my schedule has been filled with hospital work and community activities. We have just recently completed another medical mission, making this season especially busy and meaningful.

But yesterday, I gladly accepted the invitation for an interview because I believe that health education is an important part of healthcare. Knowledge should not remain within the walls of the hospital or clinic—it should be shared with a wider audience, empowering people to better understand and take charge of their health.

This is my advocacy: to educate, empower, and make a difference—one person, one family, and one community at a time.

Thank you to the compassionate and talented doctors, nurses and other volunteers and to Father Eugene, for making this medical mission a success. See you next year in ゚

To the doctors, nurses, medical staff, volunteers, organizers and everyone who generously shared their time, skills, resources, compassion, our heartfelt gratitude. The Transformative Medical Mission at San Isidro Labrador Parish in Calamba, Laguna last August 22, 2026 was made possible because people chose to come together for one purpose: to serve, to care, and to make a difference in the lives of others. ゚

Beyond the consultations, tests, and medical care, you gave something equally valuable—your compassion, patience, kindness, and willingness to serve. Every patient you assisted, every reassuring word you offered, and every task you willingly took on helped make a difference in the lives of the people we were privileged to serve.

A medical mission is never the work of one person. It is made possible by people who choose to show up, work together, and give a part of themselves for others.

Thank you for sharing your skills, your time, and most especially, your heart. May the kindness you have given return to you many times over.

To everyone who made our Women’s Wellness Medical Mission possible—thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

On behalf of myself and the entire Aherrera Wellness Group, heartfelt gratitude to our volunteer OB-Gyne residents, nurses, medical staff, and everyone who generously gave their time, skills, and energy in service of women in our community.

Special thanks to Fr. Eugene Fadul of San Isidro Labrador Parish, who transformed a room into a beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming clinic for our patients.

Our deepest appreciation as well to Dr. Mario Bautista, OB-Gyne, who tirelessly attended to women needing transvaginal ultrasound—even until nighttime.

For the past four years, Aherrera Wellness Group has been blessed to conduct this medical mission with different medical organizations, partners, and volunteers committed to making quality healthcare more accessible to women.

Special mention to our dedicated partner in women’s health, Biofemme, the Women’s Health arm of Unilab, for generously providing bone DEXA and hemoglobin services.

To every volunteer, partner, donor, and supporter who gave a piece of their time and heart—you are part of this mission. 🙏❤️

Beyond the medical services we provide, there is a bigger purpose behind what we do:

My mission is to be a catalyst for women’s empowerment—to inspire every woman to become who she is meant to be, to love herself, to take charge of her health, and to live life to the fullest.

This is my thrust.
This is what I believe in.
And this is why we continue. ❤️

Because when we empower a woman, we empower a family, a community, and generations to come.
