The Department of Health Center for Health Development SOCCSKSARGEN Region, through the Health Systems Development Cluster, successfully completed the 3-day Integrated Monitoring Activity across the municipalities of Glan, Malapatan, Alabel, Maitum, Kiamba, Maasim, and concluded in Malungon, Sarangani Province.
Conducted in collaboration with the Provincial Health Office (PHO), under the leadership of Dr. Arvin Alejandro, and the Provincial DOH Office (PDOHO), under the leadership of Dr. Shahrir Duldoco, the activity reinforced strong coordination with Local Government Units in advancing Local Health Systems Integration.
The monitoring systematically assessed health system building blocks, including governance and leadership, service delivery networks, health financing, strategic and investment planning, human resources for health, and procurement and supply chain systems, which ensures lignment with the Universal Health Care (UHC) framework.
The activity further facilitated policy alignment, performance monitoring, and provision of technical assistance to Local Government Units, strengthening system coherence, accountability, and integration across all levels of care.
The initiative supports the continuous development of a responsive, efficient, and people-centered health system anchored on integrated service delivery.
