Sacred Heart Medical Center marks another milestone as its Robotic-Assisted Surgery Program expands into gynecology, with three procedures performed on October 12 and 13 using the da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System.
Spearheaded by Dr. Jaynet Tan, alongside Assistant Surgeon Dr. Angela Batac, and their proctor, Dr. Leo Aquilizan, the surgical team successfully carried out the first three cases under the program’s expansion into gynecologic surgery — opening new possibilities for advanced surgical care in women’s health.
This milestone underscores SHMC’s commitment to advancing surgical capabilities, empowering medical expertise, and bringing innovative women’s healthcare closer to home.
