YOM TERUAH — THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS

As the sun sets, we enter Yom Teruah—a memorial of the blowing of trumpets and a holy convocation before Yahweh.
— Leviticus 23:24

The shofar is a call to awaken.
A call to remember.
A call to watch.
A call to be ready.

And Scripture gives us a glimpse of a day still ahead:

“He will send out His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His chosen…”
— Matthew 24:31

We do not know the day or hour of Yahshua’s coming. But we know His command:

WATCH.
BE READY.
REMAIN FAITHFUL.

One day, the trumpet will sound.

Until then, may we keep our hearts turned toward Yahweh, walk faithfully in His ways, and keep our eyes fixed on Yahshua our King.

Chag Yom Teruah!

BREAK UP YOUR FALLOW GROUND.

Sometimes the ground of the heart becomes hard, not because Yahweh has stopped calling, but because we have stopped seeking Him.

Hosea’s message was a call to Israel to turn away from wickedness, abandon their divided hearts, and return to Yahweh.

Before the seed is sown, the ground must be broken.

Let Yahweh search our hearts.
Let Him remove what has hardened.
Let us seek Him while there is still time.

“…for it is time to seek Yahweh…”
— Hosea 10:12

LET GO AND LET YAH.

Let go of what you cannot control.
Let go of the fear, the worry, and the need to understand everything.

But don’t let go of obedience.

Trust Yahweh. Seek His ways. Follow Yahshua.
When we surrender our own way, we make room for His way to lead us.

“Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
— Proverbs 3:5–6

Release. Trust. Obey. Let YAH lead.

Sometimes obedience is not about knowing what Yahweh wants us to do.

It is about being willing to let go of what we want.

Our feelings.
Our preferences.
Our own timing.
Our own way.

Yahweh’s Torah calls us to walk according to His ways, not our own.

And Yahshua taught us that love for Him is demonstrated through obedience:

“If you love Me, keep My commands.” — John 14:15

Following Yahweh does not mean doing whatever feels right to us. It means submitting ourselves to His Word, even when His way is different from ours.

Self says: “I want my way.”
Obedience says: “Let Your will be done.”

May we continually deny ourselves, take up our stake, and follow Yahshua—not merely when it is convenient, but even when obedience costs us something.

Choose His ways over your own.
Choose obedience over self.
Choose Yahweh’s will over your feelings.

They are experienced in the quiet moments, cherished in the heart, and received with gratitude.

Shabbat is one of those gifts—a sacred time to pause, worship, delight, and draw near to Yahweh.

May we never overlook the beauty of a day set apart for Him. 🌿

Hey, it’s Shabbat. 🕊️

You made it through another week, not by your own strength, but because Yahweh sustained you.

So for today, breathe. Rest. Rejoice.
Put down the worries you carried all week and remember the One who carried you.

Shabbat is here. Enjoy His presence. Count His blessings. Give thanks. 🤍

“This is the day which Yahweh has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

PURE WORSHIP IS WHEN NOTHING IS IN THE WAY.

Not our dreams.
Not our achievements.
Not our desires.
Not what we hope to receive.

Just Him.

Sometimes we need to come back to the simplicity of our first love, to worship Yahweh not because of what He can give us, but simply because He is worthy.

Pure worship doesn’t come with a hidden agenda.

It says:

“YAHWEH, I give You my heart.
I give You my praise.
I give You my all.
And I don’t need anything in return.”

Like a child who is simply amazed to be near their Father, may we never become so distracted by blessings, dreams, recognition, or even our own plans that we forget the One we are worshipping.

May our worship return to its simplest place: Him.

“Love YAHWEH your Elohim with all your heart…” Deuteronomy 6:5

Pure heart. Pure praise. Pure worship.
All about Him. 🤎
