Strengthening Stroke Care Through Continuous Learning.

Dr. Serapio B. Montañer Jr. Al-Haj Memorial Hospital-Acute Stroke Unit had a Training/Workshop for Nurses on Brain Attack Pathway and Intravenous Alteplase Thrombolysis, conducted by Dr. Safrollah M. Guinal, Adult Neurologist- on August 25,2026.

The training aimed to enhance our nurses’ knowledge and readiness in the early recognition, timely management, and appropriate care of patients with acute stroke.

In stroke care, every minute matters. Through continuous learning and skills development, we strengthen our commitment to delivering timely, safe, and quality patient care.

DSBMMH welcomed Ms. Amanthi Wickramasinghe, UNDP Deputy Resident Representative; Mr. Fernando Javier Anaya, UNDP Energy Specialist; and Mr. Winston Camariñas, UNDP Cotabato Head on August 12, 2026.

The visit focused on discussions regarding the expansion of our solar energy project and a site visit to our newly installed Solar Hybrid System, a significant step toward strengthening energy resilience and promoting sustainable healthcare.

A Celebration to Remember!

What a week it was! From the energy of our motorcade and opening program, the fierce competitions, sports and games, The Voice of DSBMMH, fun-filled parlor games, meaningful Medical Mission and Feeding Program, to our unforgettable Retro-themed Culmination Night- every moment was truly one for the books!

And this year, DSBMMH proudly made history as the first among the Ministry of Health–BARMM hospitals in Lanao del Sur to celebrate Hospital Week 2026! A celebration that brought our people closer and showcased not only our talents and competitive spirit, but most importantly, the unity, camaraderie, and heart of the DSBMMH Lifesavers.

Beyond the games and festivities, this celebration reminded us that behind every uniform is a team that works together, supports one another, and shares the same commitment to serving our beloved patients.

To every team, participant, performer, organizer, and everyone who poured their time, effort, and heart into making this celebration possible-thank you for making Hospital Week 2026 truly unforgettable! 🫶🏻

A New Chapter in DSBMMH

We are proud and grateful to announce that Dr. Serapio B. Montañer Jr. Al-Haj Memorial Hospital has officially been authorized with License to Operate as a Level 2 Hospital with 100-Bed Capacity- making DSBMMH the FIRST hospital among the Ministry of Health–BARMM hospitals to achieve this milestone!

This achievement reflects the collective hard work, dedication, and commitment of the entire DSBMMH Lifesavers led by the visionary Medical Center Chief I, Dra Hanipha Madale- Montañer, toward providing quality, accessible, and responsive healthcare services to our patients.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ehsan Paudac and the entire Health Regulation Division Team for your guidance, support, and invaluable efforts throughout the process.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Hon. Dr. Kadil M. Sinolinding Jr., Minister of Health, Ministry of Health- BARMM, for his leadership and unwavering support in advancing healthcare services and strengthening our hospitals across the region. Culmination Night | A Retro Celebration to Remember

What a way to cap off an unforgettable Hospital Week! Our Culmination Night brought everyone together for an evening filled with fun, nostalgia, laughter, and celebration as we embraced the vibrant spirit of the retro era.

The night became even more special as we recognized and awarded all the winners who gave their best throughout the week. Congratulations to all teams and participants for the teamwork, sportsmanship, creativity, and dedication that made this celebration truly memorable!

One of the highlights of the evening was the Video Presentation of Every Station, showcasing the different services, people, and efforts behind the care we provide. It was a beautiful reminder that beyond the games and festivities, every station plays an important role in making our hospital a place of service, compassion, and excellence.

From the competitions to the awards, from the retro vibes to the stories behind every station- Hospital Week 2026 was truly a celebration of teamwork, camaraderie, and the people who make it all possible.

DAY 6 | BEYOND THE HOSPITAL WALLS 💙

Our Hospital Week Celebration 2026 continued with a meaningful day of service, compassion, and community care as the DSBMMH family brought our services closer to the people of Brgy. Bunkhouse, Malabang, Lanao del Sur.

Through our Medical Mission and Feeding Program, we had the opportunity to provide medical consultations, basic healthcare services, medicines, and nourishing meals to our beneficiaries. More than the services we offered, the activity was a reminder that healthcare goes beyond the hospital- it is about reaching people, understanding their needs, and extending care wherever it is needed most.

As we celebrate Hospital Week, we are reminded that our mission does not end within the hospital walls. True service means reaching out, giving back, and caring for the community with compassion and purpose.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this day possible and to Brgy Chairwoman Saida Balindong Plawan and the people of Brgy. Bunkhouse for welcoming us.
