Despite the holiday today, Ciriaco S.Tirol Hospital TB-DOTS Facility services remain open to continue providing care and support to our TB patients.

Patients may visit us until 4:00 PM for:

>TB medication and treatment follow-up
>Sputum Test; IGRA
>Health education and counseling
>TB-related concerns and assistance

Attention to all patients who submitted sputum specimens for examination last week!
We would like to inform you that the results are now available at our facility.

If you submitted a sputum specimen last week, please visit CSTH TB DOTS Facility to claim and receive your result.

For patients with a positive result: Our healthcare team will provide the necessary counseling and guide you on the next steps for treatment.

Ang Tuberculosis (TB) ay maaaring maiwasan, masuri, at gumaling. Huwag hintaying lumala ang sintomas—ang maagang pagpapasuri ay mahalagang hakbang upang maprotektahan ang sarili, pamilya, at komunidad.

Kung ikaw ay may:
• Ubo na 2 linggo o higit pa
• Lagnat
• Pagpapawis sa gabi
• Pagbaba ng timbang
• Kawalan ng ganang kumain
• Panghihina

KNOW HOW TB SPREADS!

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that can spread through the air.

When a person with active pulmonary TB coughs, sneezes, speaks, or sings, tiny infectious particles can be released into the air. People nearby may be infected by breathing in the bacteria containing particles especially during prolonged exposure in crowded or poorly ventilated areas.

How can we help prevent TB transmission?

➡️ Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
➡️ Wear a mask when advised, especially if you have symptoms or are undergoing TB treatment.
➡️ Keep rooms well-ventilated.
➡️ If diagnosed with TB, take your medicines exactly as prescribed and complete the full treatment regimen.
➡️ Household and close contacts should undergo screening when recommended by the TB-DOTS team.

Remember: TB is preventable, treatable, and curable. Early diagnosis and complete treatment help protect your family and community.

KNOW TB. TEST EARLY. TREAT COMPLETELY.

Tuberculosis (TB) is preventable and curable. If you have a cough lasting 2 weeks or more, fever, night sweats, weight loss, or other symptoms suggestive of TB, seek consultation and testing.

If diagnosed with TB, take your medicines as prescribed and complete the entire treatment regimen.

For TB screening, consultation, treatment, and other TB-DOTS services, visit Ciriaco s. Tirol TB-DOTS Clinic.

Your early action can help stop the spread of TB.
