Looking to switch your primary care provider? PhilHealth has officially opened transfer requests for Calendar Year 2027! You can now select BMS Medical Laboratory as your preferred PhilHealth YAKAP Clinic.

🗓️ Application Period:

October 1 to December 31, 2026

📑 How to Request a Transfer:

1. Visit any PhilHealth Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO).

2. Complete member verification and a liveness check using the PhilHealth Check Utility (PCU).

3. If PCU verification cannot be completed (e.g., pending PhilSys registration):

Present one (1) valid government-issued ID or acceptable alternative document.
Submit a duly accomplished Primary Care Selection Form (PCSF) listing BMS Medical Laboratory.

👤 If Requesting Through a Representative:

If you are unable to apply in person, your authorized representative must bring:

An authorization letter signed by you (the beneficiary).
Valid IDs for both the member and the representative.

📧 Once processed, you will receive an email confirmation verifying your assignment to your new YAKAP Clinic!

In order to ensure the proper delivery of healthcare services under PhilHealth YAKAP, PhilHealth Region 10 conducted a monitoring inspection last week at both BMS Medical Laboratory – Casisang and Kalilangan Branch.

We are truly grateful and proud that both branches received a VERY GOOD commendation from the inspectors. 👏🏼

What makes this recognition even more meaningful is that we were the first YAKAP-accredited institution to complete the monitoring inspection in less than an hour, thanks to our detailed, organized, complete, and readily available documents, which were thoroughly validated during the inspection.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: TRANSITION IN LEADERSHIP

BMS Medical Laboratories and its umbrellas wishes to announce the departure of two key members of our team. Effective March 2, 2026, Ms. Cristelle R. Jurolan-Jimenez, JD Overall Administrator, and Ms. Shaiellha T. Bertudan, RRT Chief Radiologic Technologist-Casisang Branch, will be moving on to new professional chapters.

We are incredibly grateful for the leadership and technical expertise they provided during their time with us. They leave behind a strong foundation, and we wish them nothing but the best in their future endeavors.

Please be assured that this transition will not impact our daily operations. Our imaging and laboratory services continue to operate at full capacity under the guidance of our interim leadership team, maintaining the high standards of patient care you expect from us.
