Launching Activity - June 30, 2026

Yesterday, June 30, 2026, the Malitbog Local Nutrition Councilโ€”headed by Hon. Kenneth Blair S. Obenโ€”successfully launched its Supplemental Feeding Program to combat malnutrition and support vulnerable mothers and children.The event brought together key community leaders and partners, including BLGU representatives, Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), Dr. Jean Marie Uy (PHO I), Ms. Glenda Alipao (DILG), SB Members, and NEKARCO President Ms. Julie Mesiona, alongside program beneficiaries and stakeholders.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Funded through the national government's Local Government Support Fund - Growth Equity Fund (LGSF-GEF) and counterpart municipal funds, this vital program will provide targeted nutritional support for:

๐Ÿ‘ง Children: 140 days of supplemental feeding
๐Ÿคฐ Pregnant Women: 90 days of supplemental feeding

Together, we are working toward a healthier, malnutrition-free Malitbog!
