💙 Mamas, this one is important.

As moms, we know when something feels different with our kids. But sometimes, the signs can look so ordinary—“Uhaw lang,” “pagod lang,” “lagi lang umiihi.” 😔

That’s why I want every parent to know the 4 T’s:

💧 THIRST – always thirsty
🚽 TOILET – peeing more often
⚖️ THINNER – unexplained weight loss
😴 TIRED – unusually tired or weak

These can be warning signs of diabetes, including Type 1 Diabetes. If symptoms progress, DKA can become a life-threatening emergency.

Please also watch for vomiting, tummy pain, deep or rapid breathing, fruity-smelling breath, dehydration, confusion, or extreme sleepiness.

As a mom in the T1D community, I know how scary it can be when you don’t know what you’re looking at. So let’s help each other learn the signs. 💙

Share this with another mama, a teacher, a caregiver, or anyone who cares for children.

Because sometimes, knowing what to look for can make all the difference. 🦋💙
