Swollen eyes in the morning? Puffy feet? Shoes suddenly feeling tighter?

While swelling can have many causes, persistent swelling in a child’s hands, feet, abdomen, or around the eyes may be a sign that the kidneys need to be checked.

Early evaluation can make a big difference—especially if accompanied by:
💧 Foamy urine
🚽 Less urine than usual
📈 High blood pressure
😴 Unusual fatigue or irritability

Don’t ignore the signs. When in doubt, have your child assessed by a pediatrician or pediatric nephrologist.
