Even when I was in KSA, some of my friends would request to have their tattoo done by me. Now that I am presently based here in the Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City, I still continue my painting on canvass and tattooing.

Edzon dela Cruz’s textured painting effect technique are predominantly colored blue that gives a
feeling of being cool implying truth, heaven, eternity, faith and ever-lasting happiness. On April, 1998, he arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to work as an Artist-Painter, in one of the leading decorations company “ Artisana’t Interior Design & Decoration”. For many years of working as an artist-painter, he poured out all his talent and knowledge in large wall and ceiling Mural Paintings. He’s in the world of arts since his elementary days until present. In his home town, his experienced was mostly in an advertising agency as a free lancer. When he’s not busy with his work, he spent most of his time in front of his canvas because he loved to do painting and drawing. DELA CRUZ, born in Mindanao Philippines. His talent was inherited from his father, Eduardo Dela Cruz, a Trade Teacher and from his maternal relatives. He grew up in a family where painting is a favorite pastime. During his adolescent years, sometime in 1986, he begun to befriend in a circle of artist. The group believed in his talent, for that, they encourage him to broaden his knowledge on this craft. Because of it, he read more books in his house which was used by his father in trade school and also he did research in bookstores and in the internet.
