*URGENT REQUEST FOR BREASTMILK*

Hello everyone, a teacher in Ateneo passed away this morning leaving behind her newborn baby. The family is need of breastmilk asap. Please see below instructions:

We are inviting the community to donate breastmilk. These are the instructions of the NICU for the donation - milk has to be *frozen*, *in a cooler, well-labeled (*Date, time, name of baby: Baby Boy Baroque*)*. They can drop off the milk directly to UST NICU/ Newborn Services, 4th floor, St. John Paul II Building UST Hospital.

Cup feeding is recommended as the alternative feeding method of choice by breastfeeding experts and WHO/UNICEF. Simply use any clean and dry cup with a smooth surface to feed your baby. This method allows the baby to control the amount of milk he or she is feeding, and minimizes ni**le confusion which may make it difficult for you to continue breastfeeding. Cups are also easier to clean than bottles, and are safer than bottles, which may trap germs that can harm your baby.
