Kabilang sa selebrasyon ng ika-52 na Buwan ng Nutrisyon, ang Institute of Human Genetics - Clinical Genetics and Research Unit ay magtatampok ng mga Recycled Items na mga lata ng Medical Food na binibigay sa ating mga pasyente.

Ang ating Recycled Item para sa linggong ito ay galing sa Ina ni Pt. Escalante ng Luzon. Siya ay nagkaroon ng initiative na i-recycle ang MSUD Medical Food cans at gawin itong Pen holders, o lagayan ng mga ballpen, gunting at ibang kagamitan pang-eskwela.

Si Pt. Escalante ay isinilang na may Maple Syrup Urine Disease o MSUD. Alamin ang detalye tungkol sa sakit na ito sa mga litrato sa ibaba:
