A huge congratulations to Neal McCoy, who received one of country music’s most meaningful honors on September 22, 2026—an invitation to become the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry. The invitation came during “Opry 100 Honors: Charley Pride,” a special evening celebrating the life and legacy of McCoy’s longtime friend and mentor, Charley Pride.

The emotional moment came on the Opry stage when Pam Tillis extended the invitation to McCoy, referencing what she believed Pride would have wanted for his longtime friend. McCoy’s heartfelt reaction showed just how special the moment was.

McCoy has long been connected to Pride, even releasing Pride: A Tribute to Charley Pride in 2013. Now, as he prepares to officially join the Opry family, this honor adds another beautiful chapter to his remarkable country music journey.

Congratulations, Neal! Welcome to the Opry family! 🤠🎉❤

Lionel Richie, 77, is recovering after undergoing a procedure to treat atrial fibrillation (AFib), an irregular heart rhythm. His representative said the minimally invasive ablation procedure went perfectly and that Richie is doing well, but he will take some time away from the stage.

Because of the latest health issue, three upcoming shows with Earth, Wind & Fire have been canceled: San Francisco on September 26, Chicago on September 30, and Columbus on October 2.

Just days before the procedure, Richie was seen out in Beverly Hills with his girlfriend, Lisa Parigi, smiling and giving photographers a thumbs-up.

After several health-related interruptions during his 2026 tour, fans are now sending Lionel plenty of love and wishing the legendary singer a smooth recovery. ❤️🙏🎤

Randy Travis is setting the record straight about his upcoming album, Same Old Way, after questions online left some fans wondering how new music could be released following his 2013 stroke.

The answer is simple: these are Randy’s original recordings. The 12 previously unreleased tracks were recorded between 1986 and 2013 and had remained in the vault. Longtime producer Kyle Lehning assembled, remixed, and remastered the recordings for the new album.

The album arrives November 13, 2026, marking Travis’s first collection of new material in more than 18 years.

After confusion surrounding the project, Randy delivered a simple message to fans: “No. My new album is not A.I.”

This isn’t a computer creating a new Randy Travis voice—it’s music from Randy’s own recording history finally getting its chance to be heard. 🤠❤️🎶
