Stay Alert for Leptospirosis After Flood Exposure

Floodwaters may carry bacteria that can enter the body through cuts, wounds, or broken skin, increasing the risk of leptospirosis.

Be mindful of symptoms such as:
✅ Fever
✅ Severe headache
✅ Muscle pain
✅ Red eyes
✅ Yellowish skin or eyes

If you have recently been exposed to floodwaters and are experiencing any of these signs, visit the Adamson University Clinics for immediate evaluation and treatment.

Early detection and treatment can help prevent serious complications.
