Small helpful tips for parents in giving medications: 😇

Ung mga gamot na pinapainom natin sa mga bata—kahit may lasa siyang parang fruity syrup—pagkatapos inumin, may naiiwan pa rin na tunay na lasa ng gamot sa dila. Minsan mapait (like antibiotics), at minsan naman, tulad ng nasa picture na Iron Drops (iron supplement), may lasa siyang parang bakal. Kaya normal lang na minsan parang nasusuka ang bata pagkatapos uminom ng gamot.

Pwede tayo maghanda ng maliit na candy bago pa ibigay ang gamot (katulad ng vitamin C gummy bear sa picture), o kaya onting juice na gusto ng bata. Pagkatapos painumin ng gamot, ibigay agad yung reward para matulungan silang malunok ang gamot.

On top of this, tuwing may sakit ang bata, mas madali silang maduwal kahit anong kainin, kaya mas nagiging mahirap ang pagpapainom ng gamot. Pwede niyong i-try itong technique next time na kailangan magpainom ng gamot.
